Adriana Falcão Loth, MSc.

Adriana Falcão Loth is a Psychologist. PhD student in Engineering and Knowledge Management at UFSC. Master in Public Policy Management. Specialist in various subjects, with consolidated professional experience in Organizational Psychology, People Management, Leadership and Knowledge Management. She is currently a researcher at LabENGIN/UFSC and coordinates the Human and Organizational Development area at Joinville Water Company.

Ana Carolina Prado

Ana Carolina Prado is a graduate in Information Science (PUC Minas) and holds post-graduate degrees in Project Management (IETEC) and Strategic Business Process Management (IEC – PUC Minas). She also holds an MBA in Management 4.0, Leadership, and Innovation (PUCRS) and is a specialist in Innovative Technologies for Education (Fundação Getúlio Vargas). With a wealth of experience in major software and consulting companies such as TOTVS, INDG/Falconi, Mastermaq/EVO, and Nérus, Ana has played pivotal roles in project and process management, service standards implementation, management methodologies, and knowledge management strategy implementation. Currently, she holds the position of Knowledge and Training Coordinator at Softplan, where she is actively involved in corporate education and specialized knowledge management for clients in the public sector and the Brazilian and Colombian justice systems. In addition to her professional endeavors, Ana is a volunteer in initiatives aimed at empowering women in technology and serves as a technical mentor in projects related to intellectual capital management within organizations.

Alessandro Margherita, Dr.

Alessandro Margherita is Associate Professor of Management Science and Engineering at the Department of Engineering for Innovation (DEfI) of the University of Salento (Italy), and a Research Partner at UFSC – Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). He holds about twenty years of teaching, research and consulting experience in international academic and industrial contexts, with a focus on areas such as digital transformation, business process innovation, and technological entrepreneurship. His focus today is on emergency management systems, and human resource management, and he is the coordinator of HUMANWISE, an international research network on HRM and analytics. He is the author of more than 100 research works in international conferences and peer-review journals, and he has published several manuals on business engineering, process and project management. He serves the Editorial Board of Business Horizons, PlosOne, and Sustainability. He was visiting scholar at the Center for Digital Business of MIT Sloan (USA), Research affiliate at the Center for Collective Intelligence of MIT Sloan, and Visiting researcher at PKU – Peking University (China). He holds a PhD in Management Engineering.

Alexandra Augusta Pereira Klen, Dr.

Alexandra Augusta Pereira is a mechanical Engineer and dr. in Manufacturing Automation at UFSC – Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). She has participated in several national and international R&D&I projects. She also works as an independent consultant mainly in Latin America and Europe. Since 1996 she has served the European Commission as evaluator, reviewer and rapporteur as well as broker for the @LIS Programme (Alliance for the Information Society). She was in charge of the Innovation and Marketing areas of Axia Value Chain. She has worked at the Bremen Institute of Production and Logistics (BIBA), Germany, as guest scientist and carried out Post Doctoral stays at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC/Brazil), at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain), and at BIBA (Germany). She is co-founder and coordinator of GSIGMA (Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Group) and NIIDE-U (Interdisciplinary Nucleus of Innovation in Universal Design) at UFSC.

Ana Claudia Donner Abreu, Dr.

Ana Claudia Donner Abreu is master in Business at UFSC – Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) and dr. in Engineering and Knowledge Management at UFSC. Postdoctoral student at  ENGIN/UFSC research laboratory. She is an university Professor, with more than 20 years of experience in the Legislative and Executive of Santa Catarina. Her research focuses on the impacts of digital transformation over Smart Cities and over work in the future.

Ana Paula Weschenfelder

Ana Paula Weschenfelder is the Director of the Santa Catarina State Art Museum (MASC). She has experience and training – national and internationally – in artistic creation, museum management, team management, strategic planning, projects, research and teaching. With an analytical and proactive approach, her work is focused on innovation, creativity, strategy and efficiency towards results – all in the area of ​​Art & Culture and in the area of ​​Management. She is an administrator, teacher, pianist and researcher with a degree in Business Administration (UFSC) and Music (UDESC) + Specialization in Advanced Public Management (ENA) and an MBA in Curating, Museology and Exhibitions Management (in progress).
She studied for a year at the University of Bristol (England); in addition to having taught and joined courses in various areas, also in other countries, such as the United States, Italy, Portugal, Israel and Chile. She is a winner of medals and other academic awards. She was president of two editions of the Elisabete Anderle Award from the Santa Catarina State Arts and Culture Foundation (FCC), managing, with her team, R$ 11 million that awarded cultural projects in the state of SC. She is passionate about professional practice in different fields and its relations, helping in the search for creative solutions.

Angela Amin, Dr.

Angela Amin has a Master’s and a Ph.D in Engineering and Knowledge Management at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (UFSC). She was a senior technician at the Santa Catarina State Development Company. Her research focuses on sustainability, public administration, city management, and urban mobility. In the public sphere, she has served as a City Councilor and Mayor of Florianópolis. Federal Deputy for three legislatures as a representative of the State of Santa Catarina. Currently at Stella Institute, participating in the Training Program called Urban and Regional Studies for the Municipalization of Agenda 2030 with the Urban Experimentations Project in the perspective of new ideas and sustainable solutions for cities.

Antonio Lucas Soares, Dr.

Antonio Lucas Soares is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at FEUP (Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto) and a researcher at INESCTEC (Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology, and Science). His area of expertise lies in Information Systems applied to collaborative networks and information and knowledge management, particularly in industrial organizations. He teaches courses on Systems Analysis, Requirements Engineering, Information Management, and Research Methodologies. Currently, he serves as the coordinator of the Center for Enterprise Systems Engineering at INESCTEC.

Ariane Espíndola

Ariane Espíndola holds a Production and Systems Engineering degree from the State University of Santa Catarina, an MBA in Strategic Management and Business from the Federal University of Parana, and a specialization in Business Leadership from AMF and Executive Education from Insper. She is also pursuing a master’s degree in Knowledge Management at UFSC and is a research member of the ENGIN/EGC/UFSC Laboratory. With over 15 years of career, the executive has been in charge of relevant global projects at major multinational companies in the fields of projects and strategy management, information technology, and human resources.

Carlos Alberto de Araújo Gomes

Araújo Gomes is a Municipal Secretary of Security and Public Order. Ex-commander of Santa Catarina Military Police. He accumulates practical and theoretical knowledge in various areas related to Public Safety and Risk Management.  He is a Colonel in the Santa Catarina Military Police. He is also known for his work in strategic-level consultancies in the area of public and private security. He was Deputy Commander of the Santa Catarina Military Police (2017); General Commander of the Santa Catarina Military Police (2018 to 2020); Secretary of State for Public Security of Santa Catarina (2019); International Observer at the International Qualification Exercise of Romania for FIEP – International Association of Gendarmeries and Police Forces with Military Status (2017); President of the Higher Collegiate of Public Security and Official Expertise of the state of Santa Catarina (2019); President of the National Council of General Commanders of Fire Departments and Military Police of Brazil (2019 and 2020), among other experiences. Specialties: Risk analysis, Emergency management, Public Security Projects, Incident Command System, and Civil Defense.

Carlos Bremer, Dr.

Carlos Bremer is an entrepreneur and thought leader in Business Strategy, Value Chain/ Knowledge Management, and a researcher in Conscious Business/ ESG. From 2003 to 2012, he was a senior partner and co-founder of Axia Value Chain consulting, and in 2016 he joined brain4care as an angel investor and in 2020 as knowledge management leader. In 2022, he assumed his new and current role as President of the North America Division in charge of developing and entering the US market. In his career as an advisor, he would help organizations by first defining and clarifying their value proposition and, second, designing and implementing the value chain that would enable the value delivery. Carlos has a Ph.D. University of São Paulo, Brazil, and a Post Doc in Virtual Enterprises from the Technology University of Aachen, Germany. His research focused on a Systems Thinking perspective to guide Enterprise Transformation. In 1999 Carlos won the “SAP Award for Best Research in America” granted by SAP Americas.

Cristiane Iata, Dr.

Cristiane Iata is a Ph.D. in Engineering and Knowledge Management with a focus on Female Leadership in Technology-based Companies at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, specialized in Quality and Productivity, also from UFSC. Electrical Engineer at Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET MG). Specialized in Project Management with international certification from PMI (Project Management Institute). MBA in Management for Excellence. With extensive experience, she has served in leadership positions within companies such as Federation of Industry of Santa Catarina – FIESC, INTELBRAS, Technology association of Santa Catarina – ACATE and she is currently Manager of Training for Future Professionals and Innovative Businesses at the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation of Santa Catarina.

Cyntia Watanabe, Dr.

Cyntia Watanabe Kasai is a professional with extensive experience in ESG: corporate governance and positive socio-environmental impact. Motivated to advise companies to rethink and innovate their business in a world of transformation. Cyntia has a Master’s degree in Sustainability at POLI-USP, a degree in Production Engineering from UNESP, and an Executive MBA at FGV. In addition to specialization in Corporate Sustainability Management at University of Cambridge and training in Corporate Governance and ESG at IBGC. For more than 15 years he has contributed to the development of sustainability strategies, social impact, governance, strengthening practices and increasing value creation for shareholders and stakeholders of national and international companies. She is currently the Leader of the ESG, Communication and Social Impact areas at C&A Modas. She is a member of several ESG committees (Brazilian Textile Retail Association; Institute for Retail Development and Brazilian Association of Publicly-held Companies), invited professor in Master’s and Doctoral courses, and mentor of women entrepreneurs. 

Daniel Leipnitz

Daniel Leipnitz holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration from the State University of Santa Catarina – ESAG, an MBA in Global Administration from the University of Lisbon – Portugal, and a Master’s in Business Administration from UDESC – State University of Santa Catarina. He currently serves as Corporate Director and Director of Human Relations at Visto Sistemas. He also holds the position of President of the Deliberative Council of ACATE (Association of Technology Companies in Santa Catarina), where he previously served as President during the 2016/2020 term. Additionally, he holds the Vice Presidency position at the National Association of Entities Promoting Innovative Ventures (Anprotec). He is the Treasurer Director of the Euvaldo Lodi Institute of Santa Catarina (IEL), a member of the Strategic Council of the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina (FIESC), and a member of the Council of the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI). He is a Council Member of the Agora Tech Park Joinville and a guest councilor at the Caldeira Institute in Porto Alegre. He is also a council member of WTM International, President of the Brazil-Israel Chamber of Commerce in Santa Catarina, and a member of the board, partner, and advisor to various startups. Dani Verdugo

Denilson Sell, Dr.

Denilson Sell is dr. in Production Engineering (UFSC and The Open University), is a professor in the Graduate Programs in Engineering and Knowledge Management at UFSC l- Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brasil), a Master in Business Administration (UFSC) and in Administration at the University of the State of Santa de Catarina (ESAG/UDESC). He is also Director and Researcher at the Instituto Stela. He has extensive experience in Engineering and Knowledge Management, Digital Transformation, Analytics, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, developing research, consulting, projects and analytical solutions in sectors such as finance, health, education, security, oil and gas, energy distribution and aviation.

Eder Henriqson, Dr.

Eder Henriqson is post-doctoral researcher at Griffith University (Australia), holds a Ph.D. in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), with a research stay at Lund University (Sweden). Also, holds a Master’s degree in Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). Holds a license and has experience as a Commercial Airplane Pilot. Currently, he is a Full Professor and Dean of the Business School at PUCRS, where he works as a lecturer and researcher in the Postgraduate Program in Administration and the Undergraduate Courses in Administration and Aeronautical Sciences. Gertrudes Aparecida Dandolini, Dr.

Gertrudes Aparecida Dandolini holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Production Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, all from the UFSC – Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). She is currently a full Professor at UFSC at the Postgraduate Program in Engineering and Knowledge Management (PPGEGC) of the Department of Knowledge Engineering. She was the Coordinator of the PPGEGC between 2017 and 2019 and is leaders of the research group on Innovation, Management and Information Technology (IGTI), and is a member of the research group on knowledge, learning, and organizational memory (KLOM) and Integration Engineering and Knowledge Governance (ENGIN). Her research themes are Innovation Management, Social Innovation and Knowledge Management. She has more than 400 publications among articles, books, and book chapters, and has executed several research/extension projects, especially in the context of the public sector (in the area of Education and Public Security).

Gisely Jussara Tonello Martins, Dr.

Combining experiences as a teacher and course manager in higher education, technical and corporate education, as a manager in the marketing and sales areas and as a mentor for entrepreneurs and startups. Gregório Jean Varvakis Rados, Dr.

Gregório Varvakis holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, a master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering – Loughborough University of Technology. He is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Department of Knowledge Engineering, working in undergraduate education (Engineering and Information Science) and in the postgraduate programs in Engineering and knowledge management and Information Science. He has experience in the area of Management, with an emphasis on Process Management, Knowledge Management and Management of Service Organizations, working mainly on the following topics: Innovation, Knowledge Management, Productivity, Continuous Improvement, Information Technology and Information Flow.

Iomani Engelmann

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2002). Currently, he is a partner at Pixeon Ltda. He has experience in the field of Computer Science, with an emphasis on Computer Systems Architecture, focusing primarily on the following topics: automation, technology, software, requirements engineering, and CMMI.

Isabel Maria Pinto Ramos, Dr.

Isabel Ramos is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at the Department of Information Systems (DSI) at the School of Engineering at the University of Minho. She is also a researcher at the Algoritmi Research Centre. Isabel serves as the Chair of DSI, President of the Portuguese Association for Information Systems and the Technical Commission of the International Federation of Information Processing (IFIP). Jamile Sabatini Marques, Dr.

Jamile Sabatini Marques is the Innovation and Promotion Director and Director of the Think Tank – Innovation Intelligence, Public Policy, and Innovation Center of the Brazilian Association of Software Companies – ABES, and has worked on some innovation promotion programs. She holds a post-doctoral degree in Knowledge-Based Development from UFSC and the Institute of Advanced Studies at USP. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and Knowledge Management from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where she defended her thesis on the importance of promoting innovation to generate knowledge-based economic development.

Jay Liebowitz, Dr.

Jay Liebowitz has recently served as the Inaugural Executive-in-Residence for Public Service at Columbia University’s Data Science Institute. He is joining Tufts University as the Professor of Practice in Data Analytics. He was previously a Visiting Professor and the MS-Business Analytics Capstone & Co-Program Director (External Relations) at Seton Hall University. Dr. Liebowitz was a Full Professor at Johns Hopkins University and the first Knowledge Management Officer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Before NASA, Dr. Liebowitz was the Robert W. Deutsch Distinguished Professor of Information Systems at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, Professor of Management Science at George Washington University, and Chair of Artificial Intelligence at the U.S. Army War College. Jeff Allen, Dr.

Dr. Jeff Allen is an internationally recognized scholar of wisdom that assists organizations in making evidence-based decisions that foster individual wisdom and cultivated collective wisdom. His research, writing and teaching spans three broad areas: knowledge management, human resource development, and workforce development. He currently serves as a Regents Professor of Information Science at the University of North Texas where he has led faculty and directed programs for the last three decades.
He served as the Founding Director of the Center for Knowledge Solutions to work with government, industry, and schools to enhance knowledge transfer. He was the Founding-Editor of Learning and Performance Quarterly, Editor-in-Chief of Performance Improvement Quarterly, Editor of Career and Technical Education Research. José Eduardo Fiates

José Eduardo Fiates is a mechanical engineer (1992) and holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and Knowledge Management (2014) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He has specialized in Management of Technology-Based Companies from Queen University and the University of Twente (United Kingdom and the Netherlands, respectively). He served as the Executive Director of the Center for Advanced Technology Collaboration (CELTA) and as the Innovation Superintendent at CERTI Foundation. Currently, he holds the position of General Superintendent at CERTI Foundation, Executive Director at Sapiens Parque S.A., General Director at CVentures Innovative Ventures and Holdings S.A., and coordinates the Sapiens Parque Project in the Innovation area at CERTI Foundation. He was the President of the Latin American Division of the International Association of Science Parks – IASP (2009/2011). Luana Siewert Pretto, MSc.

Luana Siewert Pretto is a Civil Engineer at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with a master’s degree in Multicriteria Analysis (UFSC) and a postgraduate degree in Project Management (FGV). Luciana Poli Silva is an enthusiast of human powers and has been working in the field of Organizational Development and Organizational Learning for over 25 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from PUC-RJ, is a specialist in Positive Psychology, a specialist in Advanced Business Management from COPPEAD, a specialist in Human Resources Management from PUC-RJ, a Psychopedagogue from PRÓ-SABER and a Business Administrator from UFRJ. Luiz Roberto Liza Curi, Dr.

Luiz Roberto Liza Curi is President of the National Education Council (CNE). He is a sociologist and PhD in Economics, both from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). He is  a member of the Superior Council of the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and Commission on the National Graduate Plan. He was President of the Chamber of Higher Education, from 2016 to 2018, President of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP), linked to the Ministry of Education (MEC), member of the Council of the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute (IPHAN), Director of Higher Education Policies of MEC,Secretary of Culture of the city of Campinas, Director of Science and Technology of the State of São Paulo. Luiz Márcio Spinosa, Dr.

Luiz Márcio Spinosa is Director of Science, Technology and Innovation at the Araucária Foundation. He is a visiting researcher at the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley and vice-coordinator of national innovation systems and models at the Triple Helix Association. Post-doctorate in Innovation from the University of California at Berkeley (USA), PhD and Master (DEA) in Informatics and Electronics from the University of Aix-Marseille (FR), specialist in Innovation from the University of Texas (USA) and Simon Fraiser University (CAN), Master in Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor in Computer Science from UFSC. Marcelo Fett

Marcelo Fett is a Lawyer, he served as Secretary of Economic Development and Innovation in the cities of São José and Palhoça in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. He is the Director of Market Relations at Softplan Sistemas, one of the largest IT companies in the country, with over 3,000 employees, 4,000 active clients, and a presence in all Brazilian states, as well as in Latin American countries and the USA. He was the former president of Itajaí Participações S/A, a public company responsible for promoting investments in the city of Itajaí and implementing the Innovation District in the Itajaí Region. He was also a member of the team for the Inova@SC Program at the State Secretariat for Sustainable Development, responsible for attracting significant investments to the state, including the BMW plant in Araquari. Marcelo Fett contributed to the conception of the Investe SC Agency for investment attraction and the foundations of the Catarinense Innovation Program (2011-2013). He served as a member of the Municipal Council for Science and Technology in Joinville (2011-2012), the Municipal Innovation Council in Florianópolis (2011-2012), and the Economic Development Council in Palhoça (2015-2017).

Nicole Stivaletta

Nicole Stivaletta is the General Coordinator of International Relations and a professor at the University of Western Santa Catarina (UNOESC). She is also the Coordinator of the Internationalization Chamber of the Association of Educational Foundations of Santa Catarina (ACAFE). Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in India, a Global Envoy for Northeastern University in the USA, and she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the English Postgraduate Program (PPGI) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). She holds a specialization in English as a Second Language (ESL) from the Peace Corps in the United States. Nicole completed her Bachelor’s degree in Literary Studies – English at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She is also an advisor for the “Direito e Tradução” project under Article 171 of UNIEDU and is a researcher in the NINTRATEC research group at PPGI UFSC. Patricia de Sá Freire, Dr.

For over 30 years, Patricia de Sá Freire has been a consultant in strategic change management and people leadership. She is the head of the Engineering and Knowledge Governance (ENGIN) department. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Educational Technologies, and she is also a specialist in Marketing from ESPM/RJ and in Psychopedagogy from UCB/RJ. Currently, she holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and Knowledge Management (EGC) and serves as a professor in the Department of Knowledge Engineering and a researcher in the Postgraduate Program in EGC at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Paulo Selig, Dr.

Professor in the Graduate Program in Engineering and Knowledge Management (EGC) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He is a researcher at the Stela Institute. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, a Master’s degree in Production Engineering (UFSC) and a PhD in Production Engineering (UFSC). He was president of the Brazilian Association of Production Engineering (ABEPRO), was one of the creators and first coordinator of the Graduate Program in Engineering and Knowledge Management at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (EGC/UFSC), as well as the creator and general coordinator of the International Congress of Knowledge and Innovation (ciKi). Researcher and consultant with experience in the area of evaluation of productive systems, with emphasis on costing systems and intellectual capital.

Paulo Sérgio Rovina

Paulo Sergio Rovina is a Civil and Petroleum Engineer, 42 years’ experience, 36 in Oil & Gas Industry, mostly in Petrobras and recently in Karoon Energy. In Petrobras, led teams in offshore operations (drilling rigs), as manager of wells and subsea projects and operations in major projects like Barracuda & Caratinga, pre-salt Libra / Mero, as well as Wells Completion Corporate Manager. In Karoon, led project and operations in wells campaign in fields Baúna, Patola and Neon.

Randhir Reghunath Pushpa, Dr.

Randhir Reghunath Pushpa is co-founder and chief consultant of Acies Innovations. Acies which is headquartered in Singapore and focuses on providing KM services including defining strategy, process enablement, technology setup and change management. Regina Wundrack do Amaral Aires

She holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Knowledge Management (2020) from PPGEGC/UFSC. She is a specialist in the field of Management, with an MBA in Strategic Management of Professional and Technology Education Institutions (2013) from SENAI/SC Florianópolis College and an additional specialization in Business Management (2010) from UNOESC. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Executive Secretariat (2008) from UNOESC, with Professional Registration SRTE/SC 1226 dated 27/06/2011. She is a Technical Specialist in Agribusiness (2002) from CEDUP Getúlio Vargas.

She works as a researcher at LabENGIN – Engineering of Knowledge Integration and Governance/UFSC/CNPQ. Since 2007, she has been employed at SENAI Santa Catarina, working in the fields of Management and Education. Since March 2020, she has been serving as the Manager of the Lean in School Strategic Project, focusing on implementing lean culture in SESI and SENAI schools in Santa Catarina.

Rivadávia C. Drummond de Alvarenga Neto, Dr.

Rivadávia C. Drummond de Alvarenga Neto is a Clinical Professor at the W P Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and the 2023 John W Teets Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award winner. He is also one of the leaders  in charge of creating the first Innovation Masters in the US, the so called MSIVD – Master’s in Innovation &Venture Development, a program taught in collaboration between three schools (the Ira Fulton Schools of Engineering, the Herberger Institute for Design & the Arts, the W P Carey School of Business). An original partner and Board Member of the Anima Educational Group Brazil (Sao Paulo Stock Exchange, ANIM3, Brazil), he was a Visiting Associate Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, SAR, China. He figures as founding partner and Executive Director of Rivadavia & Associates. Sabrina Padilha, MSc.

Sabrina Padilha is an Administrator at Companhia Catarinense de Águas e Saneamento (CASAN) of the State of Santa Catarina, where she was responsible for the design and implementation of the CASAN Corporate University. She has around twelve years’ of experience in the area of corporate education, an activity that earned her the 2018 Administration Merit Award, in the Public Administration category, awarded by the Regional Administration Council of Santa Catarina. Suliman Hawamdeh, Dr.

Suliman Hawamdeh is Regents Professor in the Department of Information Science, College of Information, University of North Texas. He is a leading authority in the field of knowledge management and the editor in chief of the Journal of Information and Knowledge Management (JIKM). He founded and directed several academic programs including the first Master of Science in Knowledge Management in Asia in the School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and the Master of Science in Data Science at University of North Texas. Dr. Hawamdeh served in the capacity of chair, founding chair, and president of several national and international professional associations and conferences include the International Conference on Knowledge Management (ICKM). In 2020, he received the ALISE Award for Professional Contribution to Library and Information Science Education.

Talita Caetano Silva, Dr.

Talita Caetano Silva holds a Ph.D. from the Engineering and Knowledge Management Program (EGC) at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). She earned a master’s degree in Psychology from the same university in 2016, with a focus on Organizational and Work Psychology, specializing in professional development, career, and workplace integration. She is a member of the research group ENGIN – Knowledge Integration and Governance Engineering for Innovation. She is the author of the book “Framework Ponte TAP: 4 layers for accelerating the learning curve using canvases.” She led the Learning Curve Acceleration Project for programmers that won the 8+ position in the National People Management Award from the Brazilian Association of Training and Development. Currently, she holds the position of Culture&People at XPinc, where she is responsible for the People strategy in the education unit. She also volunteer in initiatives for women, being a volunteer mentor sharing technical knowledge and market experiences.

Tereza Raquel Merlo, Dr.

Tereza Raquel Merlo is a researcher, professor, and practitioner consultant working for the University of North Texas. Dr Merlo’s professional experience in corporate includes some of the top Fortune 100 companies. She is the CEO of Merlo Management Consulting, LLC, editor and author of the book Understanding, Implementing, and Evaluating Knowledge Management in Business Settings by IGI-Global. She received her PhD in organizational management with a minor in information technologies, and holds two Masters in information sciences from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and University of North Texas.

Tomás Carmona

Tomás Carmona has been working with socio-environmental and corporate governance issues for more than 23 years. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Climate Ventures, member of the  Steering Committee of Chapter Zero Brazil, instructor at the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance, and visiting professor at FIA Business School, School of Business and Insurance and Ibmeq. He was a member of the global board of the UN Principles for Sustainable Insurance, an alternate member of the CDP board, a member of the fiscal council of the NGOs Ação Educativa, Global Social Impact and Instituto Saúde e Sustentabilidade. He was Sustainability Superintendent at SulAmérica Group, Statutory Director at SulAmérica Institute, various positions leading the socio-environmental agenda at Serasa Experian and consultant for FAO and UNESCO.
